"The Great American Moose Hunt" contest begins August 15, 2009 and ends July 31, 2010. Collected "Moose Lake" tickets must all be sent at the same time in an envelope no larger than 9" by 12" and postmarked no later than August 10, 2010. All entries must include a sheet of paper with your name, mailing address, telephone number and signature along with the total number of tickets being submitted (including sales receipts and Moose Receipts). Entries submitted without this information will be excluded from consideration for prizes. Multiple envelopes will not be counted.

Each participating business will have a unique "Moose Lake" ticket that will be found and distributed only at that business location.
"Moose Lake" tickets are free, no purchase necessary.
Only one "Moose Lake" ticket per person from each business will be counted for any prizes.
Only one "Moose Lake" ticket per person will be given by businesses.
Only one winner per household allowed.
If a "Moose Lake" ticket is accompanied by a sales receipt from that business on the day the ticket was collected, it will count as two tickets.

Example: If you send in 1,100 tickets and 500 have sales receipts from the businesses stapled to them it counts as a total of 1,600 tickets.
Anyone can receive a "Moose Receipt or a Moose Sucker bonus tag" to attach to any ticket. A "Moose Receipt" counts the same as a sales receipt from the retailer and a "Moose Hugs wrapper or Moose Sucker bonus tag" will add one more ticket value to any ticket. Only one receipt and one Moose Hugs wrapper OR Moose Sucker bonus tag will be allowed per ticket. To receive any one of these, send a self-addressed stamped envelope along with with a request for either a Moose Receipt or Moose Sucker bonus tag to:

Only one "Moose Receipt, Moose Hugs wrapper or Moose Sucker bonus tag" will be given per self-addressed, stamped envelope. Only one self-addressed, stamped envelope can be sent at a time. (Do not send multiple SASE in one envelope. Such mailings will be discarded.) There is no limit on how many self-addressed, stamped envelopes you can send during the duration of the contest.
Only one attached retail receipt or "Moose Receipt" will be counted per ticket.
Only one attached "Moose Hugs wrapper OR Moose Sucker bonus tag" will be counted per ticket.
All participants must be 21 years of age or older.
Employees and contractors of Moose Lake Enterprises and their relatives are not eligible.
Recipients of all prizes are responsible for any and all taxes resulting from winnings.
No substitutions of prizes will be allowed.
The top "Moose Lake" ticket collector will receive the grand prize (including receipts and Moose receipts). All other prizes will be awarded in consecutive order dependent on the number of tickets submitted (including receipts and Moose receipts).

Example:
1. Grand prize winner submits 1,654 tickets (including sales receipts and Moose Receipts).
2. Second prize winner submits 1,652 tickets (including sales receipts and Moose Receipts).
3. Third prize winner submits 1,598 tickets (including sales receipts and Moose Receipts).
4. and so on.
No altered or photocopied "Moose Lake" tickets will be accepted. Moose Lake Enterprises reserves the right to verify any ticket that is suspect and disqualify any ticket it deems not authentic.
Anyone found submitting an altered, photocopied or non-authentic "Moose Lake" ticket(s) will be disqualified from all prizes.
All prizes will be delivered within the state of Wisconsin. Non-residents of Wisconsin will be required to make arrangements for pick-up on all prizes that are not cash.
Prizes will be awarded in the month of August, 2010.
Hidden Ticket The Great American Moose Hunt staff has hidden a ticket on public land in Wisconsin. Who ever finds this Hidden Ticket, turns it in to the Great American Moose Hunt by August 31, 2010, wins a new ATV! The Great American Moose Hunt will be removing the Hidden Ticket from its secret location during the 2009 Wisconsin Gun Deer and Muzzleloader Hunting seasons and replacing it when the 2009 Wisconsin Muzzleloader season is completed. Please, at all times, use extreme caution and use good sound judgement when venturing in the outdoors and areas you are and are not not familiar with.
$25 Gas Card Drawing Details:
1. Only one name and email will be accepted per household address per month.
2. Any ticket numbers submitted from the same player for a previous month(s) will not be counted towards the required 10 of the current month.
3. Drawing dates: 9/30/09, 10/31/09, 11/30/09, 12/31/09, 1/31/10, 2/28/10, 3/31/10, 4/30/10, 5/31/10,
  6/30/10 & 7/31/10.
4. All emailed entries must be received prior to 12:00 midnight (CST) of the last calendar day of the current month.
5. Winners will be notified via listing on Winners Page of this site and by phone.
6. All winnings are subject to visual verification of actual possession of Moose Lake tickets.
7. This program can be cancelled at any time Moose Lake Enterprises deems it necessary.
By participating in the contest, the winner and his/her guest agree to have his or her name, city, state, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.
Moose Lake Enterprises is not responsible for any damages or injury incurred by contestants as a result of winning. All expenses on receipt and use of prize are the sole responsibility of winner. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, and depending on the nature of the prize and eligibility requirements of the contest, Moose Lake Enterprises in its sole discretion will require verification of the contest winner's identification by a showing of valid government-issued photo identification. By participating in The Great American Moose Hunt, the winner and his/her guest agree to release and hold harmless Moose Lake Enterprises, their respective parents and subsidiaries, and their respective advertising, promotion and production agencies from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to or from any prize- related activity.
Winners are required to present valid identification, social security number and sign a waiver of eligibility and liability. Prizes are non-transferable, may not be substituted or redeemed for cash and winners are responsible for all applicable taxes. Prizes not claimed after 20 days will be forfeited.
Moose Lake Enterprises, in their sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person (and all of their entries) from this contest if he or she tampers with the entry process, the operation of the contest, or is otherwise in violation of the rules. Moose Lake Enterprises further reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to modify or suspend the contest, or any part of it, if it is not capable of completion as planned or if any fraud, technical failures or any factor beyond Moose Lake Enterprises control, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the contest as determined by Moose Lake Enterprises in their sole discretion. Any attempt by an entrant or any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of this contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Moose Lake Enterprises reserve the right to seek full prosecution and/or damages from any such individual to the fullest extent permitted by law. Moose Lake Enterprises failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of this provision. If due to circumstances beyond the control of Moose Lake Enterprises, any competition or prize-related event or travel is delayed, rescheduled or postponed Moose Lake Enterprises reserve the right, but not the obligation, to modify or suspend the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.
Winner will be notified by phone. Winner must execute and return any required affidavit of eligibility and/or liability/publicity release within 30 days of notification attempt or winner will be disqualified and the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be chosen by via random drawing. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to complete, sign and return the required affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within the required time period, or if a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner will be disqualified and will forfeit the prize.
LIMITATIONS of LIABILITY: Moose Lake Enterprises and their agents are not responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, postage-due or mutilated entries or mail or for any computer, on-line, telephone or technical malfunctions, delays or human errors that occur or for inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for entries that are stolen, misdirected, lost or delayed. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of being conducted as planned, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes beyond the control of Moose Lake Enterprises, Moose Lake Enterprises reserves the right at its sole discretion to modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest and award the prizes in a manner Moose Lake Enterprises deems acceptable. By accepting prize, winner and travelling companions agree to release Moose Lake Enterprises and their affiliates, and subsidiary entities, and each of their respective officers, employees agenets, and directors, from any and all liability, loss or damage of any kind incurred with respect to the awarding, receipt, possession, and/or misuse of any prize, or to participation in the Contest or in prize-related activities; including any travel related thereto. In the event of a tie for any prize, all entries that qualify for that prize will be placed into a drawing for that prize. Only one prize per person will be allowed.
